New works by Judith Brust will be on display In Florida throughout the month of February at the Captiva Yacht Club.. The exhibition will feature both small scale and large scale monoprints created on the custom-designed presses in the artist's Captiva and Nantucket studios. We're pleased to announce that two Judith Brust mixed media paintings have been chosen for the "After Rauschenberg" juried exhibition March 22 through April 29 on Sanibel Island, Florida. According to the nonprofit Big Arts Sanibel Island organization, the upcoming exhibition is based on "the amazing diversity and innovation of Robert Rauschenberg's oeuvre." "Rauschenberg experimented with non-traditional methods and materials in his paintings, sculpture, Combines and more, yet he also displayed rigor and concern for formal painting, " according to the Big Arts exhibition organizers.
